SHIPPING TROUBLE
DISLOCATION LIKELY OVER NON-UNIONISTS. Press Association Electric Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, Monday. Serious shipping trouble at Port Adelaide is likely, to lead to a complete dislocation of coastal services and possibly may extend to inter-State vessels. The Seamen’s Union lias ordered crews to, hand in their notices on four vessels of the Adelaide Steamship Company. The trouble originated in the presence of non-unionists aboard the Moonta. MAN FATALLY STABBED. ANOTHER WOUNDED.

During the fight between waterside workers and volunteer labourers, Ernest Harrison, aged 50 years, was stabbed and died in the hospital and Alexander Ilosie was stabbed in the thigh and sent to hospital. The trouble started when volunteers appeared at the licensing office, seeking work.
