CARTERTON SALE. Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report on the Carterton stock sale, as follows:—A good yarding of sheep, cattle and pigs was submitted to a largo attendance of farmers. There was a keen demand for lambs, other classes of sheep selling on a par with late sales, while pigs and cattle met a dragging market. Following is the range of prices:—

Sheep. —B.F. lambs, 7/8, 7/- to 5/7; w.f. shorn lambs, 4/3, 3/- to 2/7; fat wethers, 12/4 to 11/2; fat ewes, 6/2. Pigs.—Weaners, 5/- to 9/-; slips, 10/- to 16/-; porkers, 17/- to 24/-. Cattle. —Fat cows, £2 10/- to £6; forward cows, 25/- to 35/-; store cows, 15/- to 23/-; potter bulls, £2 to £3 10/-.

RE ELDING SALE,

FEILDING, Friday. At tlie Feilding stock sale to-day small yardings were offered to a moderate attendance of buyers. The prices for fat stock were about on a par with last week, fat ewes being slightly easier. Fat Lambs.—Prime, 11/6; good, 8/9 to 8/10; fat two-tooths, good, 12/6 to 12/1; four-tooth ewes, 11/-; young ewes good, 8/1; fair, 7/- to 7/4; fat wethers, prime, 13/7. Store Sheep—W.f. wether lambs, good condition, 8/2; very fair, 6/1 to 6/9; backward lines, 5/6 to 5/5; woolly b.f. lambs, good condition, 1/10 to 8/1; very fair, 6/10; backward, 5/1 to 5/10; shorn b.f. lambs, good, 8/3; very fair, 6/6 to 6/7; poor, 4/4 to 5/3; aged ewes, shorn, 1/-; ewe lambs, good, 6/10 to 7/-; in.s. lambs, 4/4; poor, 2/7. There was a small yarding of fat cattle, mostly light c-ows and heifers. Dairy breeds made £3 19/- for good weights of the class; lighter, from £2 to £3/12/6; light heifers, £2; cows and heifers, £2/19/-; Hereford cows, fair weights, £3/11/1 to £3/14/-; lighter, £2/IS/- to £2/2/-.
