CHINESE RULE
* PROVISIONAL COMMITTEE. SHANGHAI. Friday. A late session last night, at Nanking, of Chinese leaders, succeeded in drawing up a provisional committee to continue the government. This consists of Chiang Kai-shek, Wang, Chin Wei-hu, Han Minug, Feng Yu-hsiang, Yu YuJen, Eugene Chen, Li Cliung, Jen Sunfo and others. The financial situation remained unchanged to-day, though Chinese bankers are greatly exercised to find means of meeting the country’s obligations.
Only three years ago Marshal Feng Yu-ksiang Avas expelled from the Kuomintang and dismissed from His A-ari-ous executive posts for “destroying railway bridges, and committing other acts of defiance against the National Government. ”
Mr Wang has been a member of the executive committee of the Kuomintang since 1924, Avliile Mr Hu, one-time henchman of the late Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, has been a member of the Kuomintang Central Political Council since 1925.
Commander Yu has been president of the Board of Audit since 1928. Mr Li Chung-kung is viee-Minister of Communications and chairman of the Yangtze River Improvement Commission. Mr Sun Fo is the son of the late Dr. Sun Yat-Sen.
