CAMPAIGN OPENS. . COSGRAVE UTTERS WARNING. DUBLIN, Thursday. Opening the election campaign at Bums, Mr Cosgrave warned the people that if the- Fianna Fail fulfilled its intention of abolishing the oath and violating the treaty, there could be no appeal to the treaty as a shield against the consequences. He acknowledged Ireland’s dependence on Britain as lxer most important customer and source of supplies. He added that if Ireland were to benefit by Britain’s fostering interCommonwealtli commerce, negotiations were essential. The Fianna Fail,, if returned, would repeal the Constitution Amendment Act, again loosing a flood of disorder and crime.
