EKETAHUNA SALE. At their Eketahuna sale yesterday (Thursdav), Asoeiated Live Stock Auctioneers Ltd. report having ocered a yarding of 2000 sheep, principally lambs. This was the first good yarding of sheep offered this season and considerable interest was shown by local, Wairarapa and Manawatu bujeis. Competition was not keen, though there was a steady demand right throughout the sale, and practically a total clearance was effected at the following prices:— Good b.f. rape lambs: 132 at 7/2, 100 at 7/1, 21 at 6/10, 215 at 6/4, 43 at 15/4, 108 at 5/3, 138 at 6/4. Medium b.f. lambs: 100 at 5/3, 157 at 4/4, 44 at 4/9, 33 at 4/-. Small b.f. lambs: 63 at 3/8, 24 at 3/-, 40 at 2/10. Good forward wether lambs: 41 at 7/-, 163 at 6/1, 65 at 5/4. Medium wether lambs: 00 at 4/9, 98 at 4/4. Small wether lambs: 47 at 2/10, 3/ at 2/-, 39 at 2/9, 14 at 2/-.. .. Small ewe lambs: 15 at 3/4, 22 at 0/1. 45 forward 4-th. wethers, 11/-; 38 aged ewes, 3/7; heifer calves, 10/6 to 13/-; weaner pigs, S/- to 13/6.
