“SILENT KNIGHTS” HEADY.
MELBOURNE, Monday
An organisation styled “The Order of Silent Knights” has announced itself in Melbourne. Its objects are similar to those of the New Guard of New ■South Wales. It has been in existence for twelve months, but has refrained from making any public announcement until it cleared up questions regarding its legality. Its -present fe’aength is two thousand. It is not affiliated with the New Guard.

The Lang Cabinet has considered the attitude of the'New Guard, and also statements made by its leader, Colonel Erie Campbell, about the Lang Administration, with .a view to taking legal action against him.
