KARACHI, Tuesday.

Aii- Commodore f Kingsford Smith passed over the aerodrome at 2.35, presumably en route to Jodhpur. SUCCESSFUL STABILISER. NEW ZEALANDER’S INVENTION. (Received Wednesday, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. The Air Ministry, with the Handley Page and other aircraft firms, have decided to experiment with an aeroplane stabiliser, tlie invention of B. Roberts, of Auckland.' Many pilots, using various types of machines, who tried out the invention at Heston, speak highly of the effectiveness of the device under severe conditions. They claimed that the invention immediately stopped a deliberate spin and enabled pilots to retain their course perfectly when flying blind in a fog. The device is stated to be successful even on machines not fitted with slotted wings.
