TARANAKI OUTFIELDS. Report issued for week ended Oct. 17th.—Waitangi No. 2 well: Drilled to 2172 feet in hard limey shale. Some difficulty in maintaining hole at full diameter below 2000 feet. Have pumped cement into the formation; “ now waiting for same to set.
