Y.M.C.A'S POSITION
TRUST LANDS TRUST ATTITUDE
At the Trust Lands Trust meeting, held last night, a letter was received from .Mr It. •). Young, as convener, stating that an effort- is being made to place the Masterton Y.M.C'.A. on a better financial basis, and for this purpose it is proposed to form a strong committee from various organisations in Masterton, and asking the Trust to nominate a representative to the committee. Mr J. AI. Coradine said that lie was of opinion that the Trust Lands Trust should not be represented on the committee. lie thought that the Trustees off such bodies in view of 1 tiWr'rust contributing financially to such associations. At the same time, he
was in agreement with the desire to improve- the financial position of the Y.M.C’.A., and he felt sure the Trustees would agree to extend help in the direction desired. On the motion of ALr Coradine, seconded by Air E. C. Eton, it was' resolved to reply that it is the opinion of Trusteees that the Trust Lands Trust should not be represented on the committee, but that the Trust would to help financially.
