The Royal Show had a very successful conclusion, rain holding off except for a couple of showers ifi the forenoon. There was a tremendous crowd at the ground's in the afternoon, probably a record for the Hawke’s Bay A. and P. Society. Further championship awards are as follow: — Saddle Ponies.—Champion, Thomas Gee (Christchurch); reserve, James Lang (Makotuku). - Working Draughts—Champion, Andrew Grant (Fairlie); reserve, T. A. Cooper (Havelock North). Hacks —Champion, Miss M. Stead (Hastings); reserve, J. H. Mac Niven (Hastings). Thoroughbred Stallion. Champion, W. A. Couper and N. A. Avery (Hastings); reserve, G. A. Scott (Hastings).
