Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from London, dated 17th October: — Frozen meat quotations (prices on a "delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.). N.I. Down lambs, 28/361bs, none offering. N.I. Down lambs, 36/421bs, none offering. Best N.I. xbd lambs, 28/361bs, 8 5-Bd. Best N.I. xbd lambs, 36/421bs, 8 5-Bd. N.I. 2nd quality lambs, av. 30/311bs, 7 3-Bd. Best N.I. wether sheep, 64d to s£d lb. North Island ewes, 3 7-8 d to lb. N.Z. prime ox beef, 160/220, none offering. As compared with last week’s quotation, best N.I. lambs (28/42), l-8d per lb lower; best N.I. wethers, unchanged; N.I. ewes (48/64), l-8d per lb lower. Others unchanged. The market is very quiet.
