MAN DIES FROM INJURIES.

DECEIVED IN MOTOR COLLISION.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)' DUNEDIN, Friday.

As the result of a motor collision between a motor cycle and a motor car late last evening, Ernest Paul Ayres, a married man, 34 years of age, who was pillion-riding on the motor cycle, was thrown against the side of the car and received such severe head injuries that he expired in the hospital a few hours later. The driver of the motor cycle was not injured. An inquest was opened this afternoon before the Uoroner (Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.), and after evidence of identification and medical evidence had been taken, was adjourned sine die.
