MOTOR COLLISION.

YOUNG MAN INJURED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. A single man, J. F. Melvin, aged 22, is in the Christchurch hospital with a fractured right leg and cuts on the hands and face, as the result of a collision between his motor cycle and a motor truck on the main south road, near Templeton, this afternoon. Melvin is suffering from shock, and his general condition is reported as fairly serious. A motor ear with a punctured tyre was drawn up on the side of the road, and the collision occurredwhen the truck and motor cycle swerved to avoid it.
