RACING.
CARTERTON RACES. NOMINATIONS CLOSE TO-NIGHT. The Carterton Racing Club will hold its annual meeting at the Glareville Racecourse on Saturday, November for which splendid stakes have been allocated. It is anticipated that some high-class horses will be seen in action. Nominations will close with the secretary (Mr J. B. Bairstow), P.O. Box 10, Carterton, to-night, at 9 o’clock. The Telegraph Office at Carterton closes at 8 p.m.
