FIRE IN SHOP.
CASE OF INCENDIARISM. (By Telegraph—Presr Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. When the Fire Brigade and the police arrived on the scene of a fire at the Star Stores, Ltd.’s, grocery shop at 17S I-ligli street at 10 o’clock to-night, they found fires burning fiercely in tAVO separate parts of the shop, and a door leading from the yard at the rear into a store room broken open, Avith three sets of jemmy marks, showing how an entry Avas effected. It Avas an obvious cftsc of incendiarism.
Fairly extensive damage aauis done to the shop property and stock, but little damage Avas caused to the building.
