DOMINION FIGURES. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) W ELLINGTON, Thursday. The total of registered unemployed in the Dominion at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday AA-as 6188, as compared Avith 5641 on the previous day, an increase of 547. This total is made up as follows: — Whangarei, 171; Auckland, 1514; Thames, 72; Hamilton, 210 ; New Plymouth, 9; Wanganui, 183; Gisborne, 122; Napier, 316; Hastings, 62; Palmerston North, 304; Masterton, 79; Wellington, SS7• Nelson, 15; Blenheim, 55; Greymouth, 3S; Westport, 9; Christchurch, 1015; Ashburton, 31; Timaru, 139; Oamaru, S 4; Kaitangata, 36; Dunedin, 614; Invercargill, 223. The special Cabinet Committee dealing Avith unemployment has issued instructions that these figures be no longer issued.
