DOUBLE MURDER.

Late last night, two masked men drove a motor cycle to a confectionery shop at Marrickville, kept by Mrs Sarah Felvey and her sister, Miss Vaughan, both elderly, and attempted to rob the till. The women screamed, whereupon one ol‘ the men drew a revolver and shot both of them.

Mrs Felvey was killed instantly, and Miss Vaughan died in hospital. A number of people in the vicinity heard the firing, and saw’ a man with a smoking revolver, running from the shop. They were unable to make a capture.
