V. PARKER’S SUCCESS. SYDNEY, Saturday. At the Leichhardt Stadium the New Zealander, Vince Parker (10st lOid), outpointed Rex Johnson (lOst. 101 b), of New South Wales, in an eight round contest. Johnson swung wildly with his right, but Parker easily outboxed him, scoring well in the infighting. A heavy right opened Johnson’s eye in the third round, handicapping him for the remainder of the bout. —Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.
