STOCK MARKET.

SUPPLEMENTARY CATTLE PAIR. Messrs Levin and Co.. Ltd., Masterton, report: —In conjunction with the Associated Auctioneers, we held our second Supplementary Cattle Fair in the Colombo Road yards yesterday. Our yarding was approximately 200 head and all, with the exception of four head, were sold under the hammer at prices which were a distinct rise on any sales for some considerable time. Most of the lines were in small lots and this especially applied to grown steers, there being a great absence of this class of cattle; consequently any small lots offering brought extreme prices. Wo quote as follows: —Aged bullocks, a/c R. O. Smith, £S 17/6; 3-year steers a/e Awatoitoi, £3 17/ to £7; 3-year steers a/c Glendhu, £7 11/; fat cows a/c Bramerton, £7 10/; store cows, a/c Glendhu, £5 5/ to £4 14/; store cows a/c Rewanui, £4 14/; 3-year P.A. heifers a/e Tinakori, £6; 2-year heifers, a/e Tinakori, £4 6/; 2-year heifers a/e L. P. Larsen, £4 1/.
