The Australasian conference of life saving societies adopted a motion favouring the formation of an Australasian life saving goevrning body, to be known- as the- Australian and New Zealand Life Saving Association. A further motion was passed that it is desirable that there should 1 'be co-op-eration among all bodies engaged in life saving in Australia and New Zealand; for the purpose, of uniformity in working arrangements.—(P.A.)
