TURKISH WITHDRAWAL. (Received Friday, 11.50 a.iu.) GENEVA, Thursday. The report by Laidouer presented to the- League Council, says that, the, statements of refugees show that the Turkish soldiers commanded by officers, occupied villages- and obtained arms, pillaged houses, and subjected the inhabitants to atrocious- violence and even massacre. ■ - Laidouer’s personal observations confirmed the pitiable condition of the refugees, who lost everything, The report emphasises the importance of the Brussels- line, and adds that deportations are proceeding. "After reading the report Laidouer announced the receipt of a telegram from Mosul, stating that all was quiet on the frontier.
