WHAKATANE ROBBERY.
TWO ARRESTS MADE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) W HAKATAN E, Tuesday. Arrests were made to-day in connection with tiie burglary ac Bridger’s drapery premises last night. After making investigations, the police visited a surfaceman’s camp near town and discovered stolen goods in a paddock nearby. Afterwards, the police arrested Matthew Murphy (county surfaceman) and Albert Alfred Ellis (labourer). Accused will be brought before the B.M.
