PROTECTION OF SOLDIERS. AUCKLAND CRITICISM. (By Telegrapn —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Criticism has been voiced in the commercial community at the continuance in force of war regulations protecting returned soldiers from, the ordinaiy le gal processes for the recovery of debts. The Council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce has decided to ask the Government to revise the legislation, ou the ground ’that it is now unnecessary; that evidence was available that a certain few individuals, to the detriment of the commercial community, were sheltering under the benefits which the legislation conferred.
