MOTOR CAR DAMAGED.

IN QUEEN STREET. CAW AND CYCLE, COLLIDE.) About ten o’clock this morning, when Mr Chas. Strouts, manager of the Bank of New South Wales, was driving hi& Chevrolet car out of William street (adjoining the bank) into Queen street, a collision occurred with an Indian motor cycle, ridden by Mr Jacob Siemonek, who was proceeding along Queen street in a southerly direction. ) Mr Strouts says that lie sounded his horn before coming out of the side street ,aiul also called out to the motor e\ r clist, but this did not avert a collision. The car was practically at a standstill when struck. The ear was hit broadside on, the running board and mudguard being smashed, and the paintwork of the side panel damaged. The motor cycle was not badly damaged. Neither of the motorists were hurt.
