WOOL MARKET.
NAPIER SALE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Monday. Wool prices further declined at tho opening of the second Napier sale tonight, when 10,000 bales, of a catalogue of 24,842, were submitted. The wool was not up to the standard of the November sale, not being as light in condition and showing grease. Bidding at times was erratic, and at no period of the sale did it appear as if there was any stability in the market. Bradford was more in evidence,-the drop in the •market apparently being more in keeping with their limits. The Continent took the bulk of the offering. Little wool suitable for America was offering, and what there was showed a decided drop. Super wools dropped, compare 1 with the opening sale, from 21 d to 3d, average crossbred down 2d, inferior 3d, crutch nigs lid, pieces and bellies par to id down. Prices for lambs’ wool was up to expectations. v The decline was at least Id below Christchurch. The balance of tho catalogue will he offered to-morrow.
