The case in a nutshell is that Lansdowne is filching our water supply which they have not and do not intend to pay for. Thousands of gallons are fakc*jLby Laiusdowne residents daily. !Tn they have been cautioned about running it to waste. They should complain. What is wrong with the majority of the' Council?, Is the -‘north trio” talking them blind so •that they cannot see the injustice done to their voters? Lansdowne should have, a proper water supply, but should pay for it by meter or else raiso a loeal loan to augment the town supply. -“Ratepayer” predicted this state of affairs and the Council will go from bad to worse when they put in ninc'inch mains to Lansdowne. In conclusion, “Bad Citizen,” use the amide water supply, but be careful of the -•'new bird” who knocks at your front ■klodr and slips round the section —such / -tactics! —I still remain “RATEPAYER.”
