MURDER AND SUICIDE.
ADELAIDE TRAGEDY. (Received Wednesday, 10.15 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day. A man giving his name as Tom Watson, and boarding at a shop in King street, fatally shot Mrs. Merle Shelton, a waitress at the establishment, and then shot himself. He died shortly- afterwards. Among the man’s effects wore found war medals and a- Union member’s ticket hearing the name T. Weathered. —(P.A.)
