WEDDING.
JOHNSTON— FRASER. Knox Church, Masterton, was the scene of a pretty wedding to-dav, when Miss It Fraser, daughter of the Lute Mr and Mrs Donald Fraser, of Riversdale and Clevedon, was married to Mr William Johnston, son of Mr and Mrs William .Johnston, of Auckland, the Rev. John Davie being the officiating clergyman, The bride, who was given away by her brother, M 1 * Duncan Fraser, wore a handsome gown of cremo bengaliue, with hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet of arum lilies and spring flowers. Miss A. E. Mackay acted as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of apricot silk marocain, and a black hat. She carried a bouquet of carnations and anemones. Mr A. Johnston, brother of the bride, acted as best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a motorcar, gjid to the bridesmaid a gold snake armlet. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a pair of prism binoculars. After the ceremony a reception was held at'the Central Arcade tea rooms. Later in the afternoon Mr and Mrs Johnston left en route for Sydney, where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in a mole gabardine frock with Oriental trimmings, and hat to match.
