MASONIC BALL.

TO-NIGHT. Everything is in readiness for the Masonic Ball at the Alunicipal Hall tonight. The decorating of the main hall has been completed, and is most artistic and novel in design. It is ceftaiu to call forth .unstinted .praise from the guests who attend the function. _ A Wellington orchestra renowned for its playing will supply the! la test music. The supper will be a feature of the ball, being' in the liamls of a capable ladies’ comriiittec, which is a guarantee that it will be something very much out pf the ordinary. _ Messrs W. G. Lamb and R. 11. Hill are the joint secretaries, and are to be congratulated on the complete arrangements which have been made for tonight’s function. They are the rightmen in the right place, and the Lodge is fortunate in having them to fill tne responsible secretarial position. The following is the men’s committee:—Afessrs W. G. Lamb, A. E. AVinzenberg, 11. M. Peacock, 11. P. Hugo, 11. G. Alexander, If. E. Pither, A. AV. Chapman, 11. 11. Daniell, ,E. J. Rose, R. S. Halliwell, Adam AlcKay, E. P. Cameron and R. 11. it ill. Air AY. Judd is the W.AI. of the Lodge, and Air and Airs Judd will receive the guests at the Hall to-night. Aliss Robieson is the organiser of 1 the ladies’ committee.
