LADIES’ GUILD.

; The monthly meeting of the Congregational Ladies’ Guild was held yesterday afternoon in the schoolroom, there being a good attendance. 1 Afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostesses, Mesdames Madsen and C. A. Hendry, for which they were accorded: a hearty vote of thanks. Final arrangements were made for a “cake and apron fair,” to be held in. the schoolroom on Wednesday next, at 2 p.m. The stalls will be: Cake, apron, be obtainable. In the evening a social and sweets; and afternoon tea will also will be held, at which everyone will be welcome. There will be no charge for admission.
