Yaldhurst Welter. —2 Gay Juliet (G. Young) 1, 1 Rich Prize 2,. 1 Barn Owl 3. Also started: 4 Los Ambus, 3 Ayr'burn, 5 Lady Gay, 7 Pink Rose, 6 Quality. Won by a head each way. Time, 1.26 2-5.
Addington Handicap. —5 Retrospect (W. Brown) 1, 3 Carnot 2, 9 Peho 3. Also started: 1 Kilris, 5 Gamebag, 10 Jubilant, 4 Corinthic, 2 Coch y Bondhu, 11 Kilbirnic, 13 Ophir, 7 Olympia, 8 Fairy Herald, 6 Kilcannich, 12 Winkie\s Rebel. Won by four lengths. Timo, 1.40.
Sock-burn Handicap.—2 Fool's Paradise (Keesing) 1, 3 Haze 2, 5 Mountain Lion 8. Als ostarted: 1 Pilliewinkie, 4 Red Wink, 7 Royal Star, 6 Lucinette. Haze made the running to the distance, when the field closed lip. Fool’s Paradise forged to the front and won by a length from Haze who was three lengths ahead of Mountain Bell. Timo, 2.5 1-5.
'Challenge Stakes. — Gloaming (G. Young) 1, Chignon 2. The only starters. Gloaming tied all the way and won under pull by two lengths in 1.28. The totalisator was not opened for this race. Templeton Handicap. —2 Civility (Beale) 1, 5 Finora 2, 4 Grand Knight 3. Also started: 1 Peneus, 3 Moorland, 6 Firestick. Won by a length. Time, 1.1 2-5. Final Handicap.—4 Will Oakland (Misscrvey) 1,2 Tarleton 2, 1 Siaosi 3. Also started: 3 Starmist, 5 Top Score. Won by three lengths. Time, 1.39 1-5. SYDNEY YEARLING SALES. SYDNEY, Tuesday. At the yearling sales/ a Lily Veil— Coolandlm colt, brother to Lilvpond, realised 625 guineas. A Valais —Carmenita filly realised 850gns, the top price of the day.
