THREATENED STRIKE. WHICH DID NOT MATERIALISE. (Received Wednesday, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. A threatened strike of building employees at Wembley did not materialise to-day.
Despite a reported ultimatum to the exhibition authorities and all the contracting firms, work is proceeding as usual this morning. iv , : It is stated that all the workers turned up.^—Aus. and N.Z. •Cable'^.ssn.
