(To The Editor.) Sir, —You certainly deserve th® ™ thanks of the community for your able leader in yesterday’s issue on the motor hog evil. But you did not mention, Sir, as you might have done, that indulgence in the liquor habit also was. largely responsible for 1 that evil. This is a. fact abundantly proved by the pres* reports of a great number of the. accidents that occur, and not a few in th« personal knowledge of many .of us which never get into print. Claiming your indulgence to publish this letter, and hoping an abler pen will take up this phase of the evil more fully for the benefit of the public weal.—l am* etc Vv w. 11. TRUDGEON.
