WHEEL SKIDS ON ROAD,

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Sunday.

Walter James Baigent, aged 40 years, a married man with four children, was killed in a street corner accident on Saturday evening. He was riding a bicycle around the corner and endeavoured to .cut in on a motor lorry, going in t lie same direction. The bicycle skidded, throwing the rider beneath the lorry, the wheel passing over the head. Death was instantaneous.
