ENVOY PAULINE SWARTZ.
VISIT TO MASTERTON. Masterton is to be favoured this week-end with a. visit from Envoy (Miss) Pauline Swartz, who is a visitor to the Dominion from the United States. Miss Swartz has travelled a.'great deal, is a woman of exceptional ability and a very able speaker. The public of Masterton will have an opportunity of hearing Miss Swartz at the many meetings arranged for, all of which will be held in the Salvation Army Hall. Miss 'Swartz will address both morning and evening services on tMinday, and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon will, speak cf her “Travels through PaiStf tine.” Palestinian costumes will worn by two ladies and one gentleman, which will add to the interest of tho lecture. On Monday night, at S o’clock, Mis* p Swartz will give her famous letucre > “Prohibition in America.” Mr G. W. Moriee will preside, while those on the platform will include Mr 0. Edmonds, the 'Rev. F. E. Harry, and Mr Taylor, of the New Zealand Alliance, and local ministers. Adjutant Cliarker, from Palmersrton North, will assist with the week-end gatherings.
