The late Mrs Donald Sutherland, whose burial took place, at Pahiatua on Wednesday, was a native of Skye, Scotland, and was 02 years of age. After coming to New Zealand, Mrs. Sutherland, whose husband predeceased her by many years, practised her profession of nursing for over 22 years. She carried on maternity nursing in Dannevirke for 12 years, and by her patients she was beloved and esteemed. The large attendance the funeral evidenced the esteem aflp affection she had inspired. She leaves two brothers, Messrs W. S. Harvey (Weber) and J. McL. Harvey (Waitahora), one sister, Mrs Fox (Napier), besides one son, Mr G. Sutherland (Dannevirke). and two daughters, Mrs J. ,H. Richards (Dannevirke) and W. Drinlcall (Whakatane).
