OPESA HOUSE. *The Universal film “The Storm Daughter’’ will be screened for the last dime together with an attractive supporting programme. “The Storm Daughter’’ is a splendid combination of dramatic romance, stirring adventuh and impressive settings. Another conspicuous characteristic is the imposing array of stars that portray the various roles, prominent among whom are priscilla Dean, Tom Sancshi and Harold Both. An attractive supporting programme is headed by another thrilling chapter of the serial “The Iron Man” featuring Luciano Albertini and Margaret Morris. A comedy ‘and the latest International News are also included. COSY THEATRE. Heading a programme of exceptional merit at the Cosy Theatre this evening is the First National photoplay do luxe “The Perfect Flapper.” This is said to be even a greater triumph for Colleen Moore that was “Flaming Youth.” It contains an imposing array of stars in Mtys Mdore’s support. It has moments of magnificent drama, scenes of extraordinary depth and feeling, and is really remarkable in its perfection of detail and the lavishness of its settings which, coupled with the many humourous passages, forms a most entertaining and absorbing photoplay. This week’s chapter of the “Fast Steppers” promises to eclipse l all its predecessors. A Gazette and comedy are also included. THE SEA HAWK. Once in a long time there comes to the screen a photoplay of such magnitude, such general excellence and such stirring appeal as to lift it high above all others and/establish it as a new high standard for attainment. Such a photoplay is “The Sea Hawk,” a First National Picture, produced and directed by Frank Lloyd, which commences a three night season at the Opera House to-morrow evening. To visualise SaImnti’s vivid drama has been a gigantic undertaking “The Sea Hawk” is a masterpiece of cinema art dramatically, pictoria llv and technically. Seldom have there been so many massive settings in one picture before especially so many big scenes with ships of such dimensions employed. Tlie “Sea Hawk” also displays a remarkable histronic demonstration by every member of the unusually large aipl well known cast, vvhicTi includes. Milton Sills as the Sea Hawk, Enid Bennitt, Wallace Beery, Lloyd Hughes, Marc McDermott, Frank Currier, Wallace McDonald and the supporting cast of over 500 players.
