LONDON, Thursday

At Bislev, the first stage of the King’s Prize (seven shots at 200, 500 and 600 yards) commenced this morn-

ing. The official results of the Daily Telegraph show that there are three with totals of 69 to shoot off. The leading Australians are Shearim and Davies 68, Hogan 67, McKenzie, Addison, Williamson and Matthews 66. Martin (Canada) with a score of 49, won the City of London Prize. Keyte, with 48, was second. Other Australian prize-winners were McNaughton (47) 7th, Cadden (46) 12th, Addison (45) 18th, Bryans (45) 20th, Calvert (45) 21st, Davies (44) 29th. Eastman (43) 44th, Matthews (43) 49th, Hall (42) 52nd. Private Desmond, a Canadian, is leading in the first stage of the King’s prize with a score of 103. CANADIAN LEADING. (Received Friday, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON,- Thursday. In the King’s Prize first stage, Private Burke (Canada) is top scorer with 103.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.

MACKINNON CUP.

WON BY SOUTH AFRICA. (Received Friday, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. At the Bisley rifle meeting the Mackinnon Cup resulted: South Africa 1074 Australia - 1052 England 1041 Scotland 103 S

The Prince of Wales’ prize (10 shots at 300 yards and 600 yards) was won by Bacon (England) with 09; Hall (Australia) OS being second. The Northland prize (similar conditions) went to Hogan with 98, Williamson, Eastman and Calvert (Australia) scored 97. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
