THE HICKSON MISSION.
TWO PARTIAL CURES. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Two further cases of sudden improvement were reported to-day in connection with the Hickson mission. A middle-aged man, who ‘had suffered from paralysis for a 'long time, and had been able to walk only with the help of a crutch and stick, went early this morning to a communion service in the Cathedral, and while entering the church found, that he could walk unaided. Later he walked to the car which was to take him home.
A young girl, who had been unable to walk for three years owing to spinal trouble, and had been a patient in the Christchurch hospital for a long while, was wheeled into the church this morning. After being brought out she said that she would like to make an attempt at walking. With some help she got up and walked several yards, then continuing by herself and returning to her chair.
