ENTERTAINMENTS.
PARAMOUNT. The current programme will have its final screening at the Paramount tonight. (“The Scarlet Bar” is a fine melodrama Avith \ r ersatile Herbert Rawlinson in the chief role. The story abounds with exciting situations, and has many humorous episodes. A delightful romance is entwined in it. A good two-reel comedy and other films are also on the same bill.
-COSY THEATRE. 1 In “Curtain,” her latest big photoplay, the charming Katherine MacDonald has secured one of t'he most attractive vehicles of her career. A story of the stage, it tells a pretty romance of a popular actress, who gives up her career to wed the man of her profession. How she works out her problem and eventually finds happiness furnishes one of the most delightful stories the screen has produced for a long time. In this photoplay Miss MacDonald is at her best.
