SHUNTING FATALITY.

FURTHER PARTICULARS. (By Telegraph—Press Associatron.) VC DUNEDIN, Thursday. An inquest was opened regarding the deiath -of the child Driver, who died from mangling under a wagon. The police have discovered that little boys, including the deceased, bed on to the end of the trucks. Just before the shunt started to pull, baek over the points, two of the boys clung to the last truck but Driver caught on to the second to last. The other boys quickly jumped off and ran away. Apparently they did not know that anything had happened to Driver. The inquest was adjourned.
