MELBOURNE, Thursday. The match between Marylebone and the combined University team was finished in fine weather on a good wicket. University in their first innings scored 332 (Fremantle 59, Rock 35, Taylor 37, Bailey 51, Guam 2S, Nothling 56, Irvine 23). Chapman took two wickets for 21, Calthorpe two for 73, Brand two for 61, and Tyldesley two for 50. Marylebone, in their second innings, scored 135 for five wickets (Chapman 29 not out, McLean 36).
