A MOTOR SHIP.
SATISFACTORY TRIALS. (Received Thursday, 9.1 oa.m.) LONDON, Wednesday. The Union Steamship Company’s 7000-ton motor ship Hauraki, has under? gone satisfactory trials on the Clyde. A sped of nearly thirteen knots was attained. It is expected that the oil consumption ?at full speed, when fully, loaded, will not exceed sixteen tons daily.— Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn;
