Cable Association. j ■ v LONDON, Tuesday. ‘The newspapers •announce that, as a result of the restriction of coal export from Britain, a Middlesborough firm has purchased 140,000 tons of Australian coal for delivery to Sweden m the second half of 1920. The. coal was bought in Australia at 22s 6d per ton, the freight is 160 s to 170 s, and oven then is undersells the British bv 30s. The firm is negotiating for a further 100,000 tons.
