MEXICAN REVOLT.
SLAUGHTER OF PRISONERS. Press Association—Electric Telegraph-Copyright (Reuter’s Telegrams.) NEW YORK, Sunday. A report from Jil Paso states that Carranza’s military commander m Mexieo City, before leaving the city, carried out a wholesale slaughter of political prisoners in the military prison. Fifteen generals were among those killed. The city is shocked by the bloody epilogue of Carranza’s regime. GENERALS EXECUTED. PUEBLA CAPTURED BY REBELS. NEW YORK, Monday. El Paso advices state that General Aquilar, son-in-law of Carranza, and General Murguia, are reported to have been executed in Mexico City. Aquilar was killed by his own tjroops. Murguia is credited with the wholesale murder of leading revolutionaries last Thursday. The rebels have captured Puebla. NEARLY WHOLE COUNTRY CONQUERED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Wednesday, 10.55 a.m.) , MEXICO CITY, Tuesday. The Revolutionists have conquered the -whole of Mexico, with the exception of the outlying districts. General Obregon has granted safety to Carranza, although Carranza before his flight, signed Obregon’s death warrant. PRACTICALLY BLOODLESS REVOLT. (Received Wednesday, 9.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON) Tuesday. A message from El Paso states that General Obregon has got every big; city in Mexico under his control. The revolution was practically bloodless. Re-arrangements for the new Government are proceeding quietly.
