WAIRARAPA SEAT.
Mr J. T. M. Hornsby, the Liberal candidate for Wairarapa, addressed a very good meeting at Gladstone on Wednesday night, including about a dozen ladies. His address was on similar lines to those already given, and was most attentively listened to, and he was frequently applauded.
There Avas a very good attendance in the Parkvale Hall on Wednesday night to hear the Reform candidate, Mr A. D. McLeod. The chair was occupied by Mr W. A. Renall, who briefly introduced the speaker. Mr McLeod's address followed closely upon the lines of that given in Carterton and elsewhere, and was listened to with keen attention and interest. At its close the speaker invited questions. Messrs B. Roberts and Brascl submitted questions, Avhieh wero answered to the satisfaction of the meeting. On the motion of Mr A. E. Booth,"seconded by Mr H. R. Burgess, a hearty vote of thanks to the speaker was carried by acclamation.
