PALtM-ERSTON N., Wednesday

At a meeting of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerre, the following resolution was carried:—"That in the opinion of this chamber the of flaxmills for the purpose of providing labour for harvesting would be unwise, unnecessary and impracticable; that the views of this chamber, in detail, be forwarded to the . National Efficiency Board, with a request that before any action is taken representatives of the chamber, the Xew Zealand Flaxmillers' Association, and the Flaxmill Workers' Union be invited to give evidence in the matter."
