INCREASED USE OF COAIi GAS.

The Leeds Corporation. Gas Committee are arranging to install plant at several of their works and gas holder stations for filling tho reservoirs that have for some time been carried by a number of motor vehicles. The price of gas for this purpose has been fixed at id per 100 ft, so that to fill a reservoir tliat is carried on a van with a IG-20-h.p. engine will cost about Is. The Oldham Gas- Committee report that an experiment with a gas-driven Ford car has been very satisfactory. Tho cost of running worked out at from three to four miles for one penny.
