ports that tho Kaiser's spring sermon to the field chaplains was as follow: — ''We .'must show a stern front in this time of trial in the world war, separating the corn from the chaff. \Yo need practical Christianity. If tho ' Lord walked into this room do you think we could look Him in the face? You must show us the jx-rsonality of the Lord, who is now assuredly walking through the world, perhaps to tho Judgment. •''
