FURTHER GERMAN ATTACKS REPULSED.

(High Commissioner's Cable.) LONDON, Thursday. French official: West of the Meuse the bombardment was continued with great violence during the course of the night. All German attacks in the region of Mort Homme were dislocated. The German attacks yesterday evening on our positions on the eastern slopes were completely repulsed by the French fire. East of the Meuse artillery fightmg has assumed a clxaracter of extreme intensity.
